1 & 1 down - help with faults and problems

In this practical tip, we will show you what you can do if your DSL connection is down at 1 & 1 or if there is a problem with the provider.
1 & 1 fault: connection down
If you can no longer access the Internet via your 1 & 1 DSL connection, proceed as follows.
- Disconnect your Internet modem from the DSL connection and from the mains. Then just connect the power cable to the power supply and wait about two minutes. Now connect the DSL cable and wait two minutes. Now check your internet connection again.
- If your modem is now connected to the Internet, which is symbolized by a continuously flashing LED, but your Internet still does not work, check the Internet connection with another receiving device (tablet, cell phone).
- Check your firewall settings. Switch off some functions for a few minutes and check your internet connection again in time. If it works now, set your firewall accordingly or reset the settings to factory settings.
- Check the parental controls on your DSL modem. This can also block the Internet. If it still doesn't work, reset your modem to factory settings.
