192.168.178.1: Call FritzBox router menu login - how it works
With the IP address 192.168.178.1 you can call up the menu of your Fritz router.
- Open any browser, enter 192.168.178.1 in the URL bar at the top and press "Enter" to access the page.
- Now the menu of your Fritz router opens. Now enter your router password to access the router menu. This IP applies to all Fritz router models.
- Instead of the ten-digit IP address, you can simply type "fritz.box" in the URL address line. You will then also be taken to the login page in the router menu. There you dial in with your access data.

- Important: If you are not using a FritzBox but a router from another provider, this IP will not work.
- For example, if you want to set up a Kabel-Deutschland router, you have to type 192.168.0.1 in the URL line to get to the router menu.
- If you are using a Netgear, the login URL is 192.168.1.1 or "routerlogin.com".
- You can log in for a Telekom Speedport at the URL 192.168.2.1 or type in "speedport.ip".
