1und1: query data volume - how it works
If you have completed a flat with limited data volume at 1und1, you should check the previous consumption from time to time. This way you avoid an unpleasant surprise in the middle of the month.
1und1: How to query your data volume via the modem
You can determine the data volume via your 1 & 1 router. However, you should note that the value may differ slightly from the actual value.
- First open the browser and enter "//fritz.box" in the address bar. If you have protected the user interface with a password, then enter this subsequently.
- Then select the "Online Monitor" option under "Internet".
- In the "Online Monitor" menu, you can see your data volume used via the "Online Counter" tab. The consumption of the current month is always displayed. If you want to display the consumption from this moment on, set the counter to zero ("Reset counter").
- If you want the internet connection to be cut off automatically as soon as a certain data volume is reached, click on the "Enter tariff" button.
- Note: If you still have an older firmware on your router, open "Settings"> "Advanced Settings".
Call up 1 and 1 data volume on the smartphone
If you want to query the data consumption on your smartphone, it is best to use an app:
- With the TrafficMonitor app, you can not only quickly read out your data volume. The practical app combines three useful tools. In addition to the TrafficMonitor, you also receive a task manager and a speed tester.
- Alternatively, you can also use the 1 & 1 TrafficMonitor app if you have a D-Netz tariff with 1und1. The app does not work with the E-Netz tariffs.
