Take 3D pictures - that's how it works with a normal camera
You can take photos in 3D even with just a conventional camera. We'll tell you how to do this.
Photographing pictures in 3D: how it works
Normally, 3D photos are created using two cameras - but this is not absolutely necessary.
- First of all, you need special software for your PC or notebook - until now, 3D photographs can only be created in postprocessing. The Stereophoto Maker program is suitable for this, for example.
- Now select the object you would like to have as a 3D photo. However, please note: You can only take still scenes, as this trick does not work otherwise.
- Also make sure that the photographed object is not too far from the camera. In addition, the object should not be too flat, otherwise the 3D effect will not work. Do not use flash to avoid creating strong shadows.
- Now take two photos of the object, one for the left eye and one for the right eye. The center of the image must be maintained and the camera must remain at the same height. If there is a height offset, the photo cannot be combined into a 3D image.
- Download the two images to your computer and start your 3D photo editing program.
- Open the two pictures and let the software put them together.
- Your 3D photo is ready.
- An alternative to the method mentioned are so-called 3D or stereo lenses. These can be used with SLR cameras to easily create 3D photos.
