7 days to die doesn't start - what to do?
- Start Steam as usual and navigate to your game library.
- Then click with the right mouse button on the entry "7 Days to Die" and select "Properties".
- Once there, go to the "Local Files" tab.
- Here you will find the button "Verify game cache integrity". Click on it and then try to start the game.
- If you do not succeed, you can click on the "Check game files for errors" button to have the files checked.
- In many cases it also helps if you click the "Delete local game files" button. After that you have to download and install the game again.
Another tip: 7 Days to Die does not start under Windows 32-bit
- Since the game is generally installed as a 64-bit version on Windows, errors may occur on 32-bit systems.
- However, you can also install a 32bit version. To do this, navigate to the Steam folder on your hard drive.
- Open the subfolder "Steam Apps"> "Common" here. All of your Steam games are listed in this folder.
- Then double-click to open the "7 Days to Die" folder. Here you will find the "Install 32bit" file.
- Double-click this file and wait for the process to finish.
- Then try to start the game as usual. There should be no more problems.
