With a forge, you can create or melt a variety of different items in 7 Days to Die. In this tip, we explain how to build them and what you can do with them.
Forge in 7 days to build: Required materials
Building a forge in 7 days to die sounds more difficult than it actually is. This is even possible very early on if you know the required materials:
- 1 short iron pipe : If you are looking for an iron pipe, you have to dismantle either refrigerators, cars, kitchen sinks or toilets. Once you have finished the smithy, you can make iron pipes yourself.
- 1 Bellows : You have to craft the bellows yourself. For this you need 2 short iron pipes, 5 adhesive tape, 5 nails, 20 pieces of leather and 6 pieces of wood. Alternatively, you can find it in working stiffs crates or industrial POIs.
- 50 small stones : You will of course find stones in the area. So start collecting now.
- 60 clumps of clay : You can find clay in 7 days to die at certain places in the world.
Forge in 7 days to build
Once you have the materials you need, start building. The following tips will help you:
- No tools are needed to build the forge. You can craft them as soon as you have all the materials available.
- Alternatively, dismantle an existing forge using a wrench and set it up in a different place. In the world, blacksmiths are mostly found in houses.
- You can also improve the smithy. For this you need an anvil, the crucible (PC) or caliper (console) and a tool set.
Possible uses of the forge
The smithy in 7 days to die is versatile. It is essential especially for the crafter.
- Meltdown : You can melt down numerous items and resources. This includes scrap iron, brass and lead, stones, ores, clay and broken glass. Melting of car batteries or hubcaps is also possible.
- Crafting : Of course you can craft at the smithy. This means that nothing stands in the way of your iron bars.
- Fuel : You need fuel to operate the forge. Numerous materials and objects are available for this, from coal to wood to the DIY book.
