Create tear-off slip in Word - how it works
You can use a tear-off slip to advertise and submit requests, among other things. We show you how to create the notes in Word and prepare them optically in just a few steps.
Word: Create a tear-off sheet quickly
Open a new Word document and insert the desired text and pictures. In this case, the portrait format is used, a tear-off slip in landscape format is also possible. The real difficulty lies in the small tear-off sections on the lower part of the note. You can easily create these with text fields.
- Go to the "Insert" tab at the top of Word and click on the "Text field" under the "Text" category. Decide on the "Simple Text Field".
- Click in the middle of the text field and insert the desired content. In this example, we write our phone number on the tear-off slip.
- If you click on the edge of the text field, you can use the arrow symbol to rotate it 90 degrees and move it to the lower left edge of the document.
- Right-clicking on the text field gives you the option of either completely removing the outer lines or converting them into a dashed line.
- To duplicate the sections, copy the text field with the key combination "Ctrl" + "C" and paste it again with the combination "Ctrl" + "V".
- Place all inserted text fields next to each other until the row is completely full. You can then print out and distribute your tear-off slip.
Design a tear-off sheet in Word: you should pay attention to this
- The layout is particularly important for tear-off notes. In order for as many people as possible not only to see your request but to actually read it, you need to get people's attention.
- The best way to do this is by making the text as large and concise as possible. Images or small drawings serve as eye-catchers, which make readers alert and curious.
