Adobe Flash for Android: Install correct version
You can only play films and other media on the go with the right version of Adobe Flash on your Android smartphone. We show which version you need.
Correct version of Adobe Flash for Android
- Adobe does not continue to develop the Flash Player for Android and so it does not actually run under Android 4.4. However, there is a customized version that initially only worked with the Dolphin Browser and which also required the installation of Dolphin Jetpack. For detailed instructions, read the article "Using Flash Player with Firefox on Android 4.4".
- For Android 4.0 to 4.3 use this flash version, which you have to install as an APK. You can find out exactly how to do this in our installation instructions.
- If you are still using Android 2.x or 3.x, you will need to use this Adobe Flash APK.
- Attention: Fake Flash versions keep appearing in the Google Play Store. These are not only chargeable and useless, but often also spy on your data.
Unfortunately, there is no Flash player for the iPad, but you can still make the iPad flash-compatible with the right app.
