Adobe InDesign: Hide guides
If you would like to view your InDesign document without guidelines, you can simply hide them. So you can better see what your layout will look like in the end. We'll show you how to hide and show the guides.
Hide guides in Adobe InDesign
Similar to Photoshop, you can work with guides in Adobe InDesign. To hide guides, follow these steps:
- Click on "View" in the upper menu band.
- Then select "Grid and Guides".
- Then you only have to click on "Hide guidelines".
- Alternatively, you can hide the auxiliary lines on the Mac using the keyboard shortcut [CMD] + [Ü].
- On Windows this works with the shortcut [CTRL] + [Ü].
