InDesign: create table of contents - so it'll work
- Switch to a blank page in InDesign or create a new blank page.
- Then click on "Table of Contents" under "Layout" to create this.
- Under "Title" you can give the table of contents a name.
- Leave the Include Book Documents option unchecked if you only want to create a table of contents for the current document.
- With a double click on the paragraph formats under "Other formats" you determine which content should be displayed in the table of contents.
- With a click on "OK" the table of contents is created and inserted.
