Adobe InDesign: How to set tab
- First click on "View" and select the option "Layout view".
- Then place the text tool at the paragraph where you want to set the tab and press the [TAB] key.
- Then choose "Font"> "Tab" to open the required dialog box.
- Now select one or more paragraphs to which you want to apply the changes.
- Then select how you want to align it in the first tab. To do this, click the tab alignment above. You can choose between "left", "right", "centered" or "decimal".
Adobe InDesign: How to set the indent
- With the text tool, click in the paragraph where you want to indent.
- Under "Font"> "Tabulator" you can then display the required dialog box.
- Note: To indent the entire paragraph, you have to move both paragraph marks. If you only want to indent the first line of text, only move the upper indent.
