Adobe Lightroom for Mac: Change shortcuts
This practical tip explains how you can change the shortcuts on your Mac in the image processing software "Adobe Lightroom".
Change shortcuts in Adobe Lightroom for Mac
Unfortunately, there is no function in "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom" for Mac that allows you to change shortcuts yourself. With a little trick it works:
- First, open your Mac's system settings.
- Then click on "Keyboard", "Shortcuts" and at the bottom left on "App Shortcuts" (see screenshot).
- With the help of the "+" symbol you can select the software "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom". A new window is opening up.
- Now enter your desired command such as "Mirror vertically" in the line behind the "Menu" option. Note: You must enter the command name identically from the program.
- Now write down the favorite shortcut for your command under "Keyboard shortcut" and confirm with "Add". Your shortcut is shown in the Mac program list and automatically adopted for "Lightroom".
- Tip: You can also change and enter shortcuts from other programs in this way.
