Adobe Premiere: Change the format of videos
Changing the format of a video in Adobe Premiere is child's play. We'll show you.
Adobe Premiere: Change the format of videos
Adobe Premiere usually saves the entire project in its own format. If you want to play the film with a specific player after editing the video, you have to change the format. You can do this very simply via "Export". You will also find the individual steps in our picture gallery.
- Select the video whose format you want to change.
- Open "File"> "Export"> "Media".
- A window with various settings now opens. Set the format for the video and the storage location in the top right. You should choose a different folder as the output name than the original.
- Make sure that the checkmarks for "Export video" and "Export audio" are set. Otherwise you may lack the sound later.
- Now click on "Export" and you can run the video edited in Adobe Premiere in your desired player.
