If you stabilize the video in Adobe Premiere, you can compensate for slight shake and don't even need expensive equipment.
- Open your video clip in Premiere and move it into a sequence.
- Look for "Warp Stabilization" in the effects.
- After applying the effect to your clip, your PC calculates background stabilization.
- The longer your video is, the longer the analysis will take. The process ends automatically and your clip is stabilized.
- Tip: After the effect has ended, next to "Auto-scaling" is the current scaling of your video.
You can make these settings in Adobe Premiere:
- Result: With "Quiet Movement" your picture appears soft. "No movement" is only advisable if you have filmed from a fixed position without strong camera pans.
- Auto scaling: Here you can set the maximum scaling and a margin.
- With "Borders" and "Frames" you choose how much work the effect does for you, or how the clip is to be edited.
- With "Advanced" you can switch on the "Detailed Analysis" to achieve a better result.
