Adobe Reader: Take a screenshot
With Adobe Reader you can take screenshots of your PDF files and copy individual areas. We show you how to do this.
PDF screenshots: Photograph documents with Adobe Reader
- Open Adobe Reader and open the file from which you want to copy an area.
- Go to "Edit" in the menu bar and select "Take a snapshot" from the drop-down list.
- Now mark the area in the document that you want to copy. To do this, click and hold the left mouse button while defining the area.
- The marked area is now on your clipboard as a graphic. You can then paste the screenshot into an image editing tool such as Paint or Gimp and save it.
- You exit the screenshot mode with [Esc].
