Adobe Reader: Hide / show toolbar
You can hide the toolbar for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Reader if you only want to read a PDF. With Adobe Acrobat Reader, however, the toolbar opens automatically each time it is started. We'll show you how to turn it off.
Hide toolbar on Adobe Reader / Adobe Acobat Reader
- With Adobe Reader, you can show and hide the toolbar by clicking on "Tools". With Adobe Acrobat Reader this is not so easy.
- The toolbar appears immediately when you start Adobe Acrobat Reader. To turn this off, click on "Edit / Preferences".
- Then select the "Documents" menu on the left and uncheck "Open toolbar for every document".
