Play Agar.io with friends - how it works
In Agar.io you compete against random opponents by default. But if you also want to play with your friends, you need an additional tool. In this article we will tell you what that is and how you can log on to the same server.
Play Agar.io with friends using the Chrome console
The solution lies far outside of your computer or the game itself. To be able to play Agar.io with your friends, you only need Google Chrome:
- Open the Agar.io website in the Chrome browser and press the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [i].
- The developer console opens. Here click on the small arrow and then on "Console".
- There you will find the address of your current server next to "Connecting to".
- Send this address to a friend you want to play with.
- Your friend now enters the command "connect (“ ws: //151.10.98.56 ”)" in the Chrome developer console in "Console". Instead of the sample IP, of course, use the server address determined.
- Then your friend confirms the command with the Enter key to log on to the same Agar.io server as you.
If you want to surf anonymously, you should open your Chrome browser in incognito mode. This article is based on Chrome 43.0.
