Aion: Classes - an overview
In the Free2Play role-playing game Aion, six different classes are waiting for you. We present the differences to you.
Aion: An overview of all classes and specializations
As a hero in Aion, you can choose one of six classes at the start of the game and specialize later.
- The warrior is a classic veteran of role-playing games. As a robust melee you throw yourself into the battle and control the fighting.
- Warriors may specialize in the Templar. As such, you fight with a shield and one-handed weapons and endure a lot. This turns them into a classic tank.
- The gladiator, on the other hand, gives up some of the warrior's defensive skills and tends to focus on high damage with powerful two-handed weapons.
- Scouts are nimble fighters, who are less able to endure than warriors and are less well armored, but are simply less likely to be hit.
- As a scout, you may specialize as an assassin and then use two melee weapons at the same time to deal a lot of damage in the shortest possible time. However, you should not be involved in direct battles for too long.
- Alternatively, as hunters, scouts become professional archers who don't even let their opponents touch them. You also use special traps for this. As long as nobody reaches him, the hunter deals massive damage, but then falls fairly quickly when he has to take his pocket.
- Mages wear only light robes while speaking devastating spells with their spell books. In any case, he should always keep his distance from his opponents.
- As summoners, mages specialize in supportive creatures, giving up some of their own attack power. Elementals are great for protecting the summoner from external damage, while he also weakens his enemies with his spells.
- The second magician specialization is the magician. As such, your magical abilities increase immeasurably so that you can take out entire groups of opponents with ease or control them to your advantage with status-changing spells.
- The fourth basic class is the priest, who uses his holy power to heal and strengthen his fellow combatants and at the same time banish dark forces.
- If you want to focus on healing and become every warrior's best friend, the cleric is an excellent choice. He can revive even fallen fighters without problems and he can even very robustly go into battle with a shield and heavy tanks.
- On the other hand, there is the cantor, who also heals and can also support the group in many ways. But the cantor is also very aggressive and, despite his magical abilities, primarily distributes physical damage with his staff.
- A comparatively new class is the artist who goes into battle with his instruments. With the power of music, you can both deal great damage and support and heal your team excellently. Basically, artists are good at everything, but should always choose a focus.
- As the only class, the artists have only one subclass, the bard. He retains all the strengths and weaknesses of the artist and remains accordingly versatile. Above all, his many skills that keep opponents under control make him an important character.
- Another quite new class is the engineer. With moderately strong armor and very high damage, the engineer stands out above all because of his many loading capabilities and his revolver. The engineer is already known from Guild Wars 2, for example.
- The engineer’s rifle specialization competes with assassins for a particularly high burst, i.e. the ability to kill enemies in seconds - either through loaded cannon abilities or the use of double revolvers. Conversely, you fall over very quickly under enemy fire.
- If you don't want to fight yourself, but prefer to use powerful machines, instead specialize your engineer in ether tech. His companions not only look impressive, but are also very tough and do a lot of damage.
It is best to familiarize yourself with the classes directly in Aion. If there is none for you, we have many more free role playing games like Drakensang Online on our Free2Play portal.
