AirPlay: No picture - it can be because of it
With AirPlay you can transfer pictures from iPhone or iPad to your TV. If you don't have a picture, you can quickly fix this error yourself. Below we will tell you what you can do in this case.
No picture on AirPlay - you can do that
In order for you to be able to transfer the image, both devices must be in the same WiFi network.
- Note that only a maximum of two devices can be connected to each other in AirPlay. Maybe another device has connected to the TV or your iDevice cannot find the Apple TV.
- There may also be a problem with the HDMI cable used that connects your Apple TV set-top box to the TV.
- Make sure that this cable is connected correctly and has no defects or broken cables. Alternatively, you can replace the cable to rule out such a defect.
- Avoid connecting the Apple TV to the TV via an HDMI switch, but connect it directly.
- To be able to play the contents of the Apple TV, you have to select the correct HDMI input on your TV.
- Make sure you have the latest iOS update installed on your iPhone or iPad. This is the only way to ensure error-free transmission.
- Also try briefly switching the WLAN on the iPhone or iPad off and on again.
