Use AirPods with the MacBook: How to connect the devices
- First you have to go to "Macintosh" in the "System Settings" on the MacBook.
- There, select "Bluetooth" and check whether the Bluetooth connection is switched on.
- Now you need to pair the AirPods with the MacBook. To do this, place the headphones in the case and leave it open.
- The set button is on the back. Keep the button pressed until the status LED lights up white.
- On your MacBook you can now select the "AirPods" for the Bluetooth devices and pair them by clicking on "Connect".
Even easier: Use AirPods via MacBook and iPhone
- It's even easier to use the AirPods to listen to music on the MacBook if the Mac supports handoff and the AirPods are already connected to the iPhone. You must also use the same Apple ID on the MacBook as on the iPhone.
- Then save yourself pairing with the MacBook: You can easily click on the speaker icon in the toolbar at the bottom and select "AirPods".
- The music from the MacBook is then played via the AirPods.
