Roaming in Switzerland with Aldi Talk
Roaming charges within the EU were completely abolished on June 15, 2017. The EEA states Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway have also joined the new regulation, but not Switzerland. Therefore, you may have to pay additional fees in Switzerland.
- Use your Aldi Talk SIM card in Switzerland, call minutes and SMS cost a flat rate of 0.11 euros. In addition to connections within Switzerland, this applies to all EU and EEA countries (country group 1). Telephone calls to other countries (country group 3) cost 0.99 euros per minute, text messages cost 0.19 euros.
- For mobile data in Switzerland, you pay EUR 0.24 / MByte, even if you have booked a tariff option with data volume. However, Aldi Talk offers the "EU Internet Package 500", which costs 4.99 euros for 7 days and is also valid in Switzerland. 500 MB of data volume are included.
- You pay 0.11 euros for incoming calls. With Aldi Talk, receiving SMS is also free of charge in Switzerland.
