Alexa: wake up with music - how it works
What better way to start a day than to be woken up by music. In the future, Alexa will get you out of bed gently or energetically - depending on whether you choose rock or a ballad to start the day. We'll tell you how to do it.
Alexa: wake up with music - it's a detour
In the US, it is now enough to say "Alexa, wake up with Rolling Stones". In Germany you can also let yourself be woken up with music, but you have to take the detour via your smartphone.
- First, pair Alexa with your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can do this with the command "Alexa, pair".
- The next step is to connect Alexa to the smartphone.
- Once the connection has been set up, you can establish it with "Alexa, connect my smartphone".
- Now open the Alexa app and navigate to "Music and Books". There you will find various music services that can be linked to Alexa. Then click on one of your desired music services and activate the account link. Now you only have to log in with your log-in data and you are already linked. Tip: If you have a Premium Spotfiy account and use the additional Wakeify app, you can use Spotify as an alarm clock.
- Now you only have to activate the corresponding voice command so that Alexa knows what to do. To do this, navigate to Alexa Skills, Music & Audio and Streaming Services. There you can activate the voice command for your desired music service.
- If you want to be woken up now, then say: "Alexa, wake me up at 7:00 am with Cro from Spotify!". If you want to use a radio station as an alarm tone, simply say: "Alexa, wake me up at 7:00 am with Antenne Bayern!".
There's no arguing about taste - that's not just for music. You can add users to the Amazon Echo - so that everyone can use new functions for themselves.
