Password input for the Alice modem
There are several reasons why the Alice modem does not accept the entered password. You can try out the following solutions:
- Enter "192.168.1.1" or "//alice.box" in the address bar of your browser. Now you should be able to enter your password for the Alice modem as shown in the figure.
- After delivery, there is initially no password, so do not enter anything and click "Save".
- If you use Firefox, go to "Settings" -> "Privacy", check the box "Do not tell websites I like tracking my activity" and try to enter your password again.
- For older versions of Firefox, you must remove the checkmark from "Tell websites I don't want to be tracked".
- The password entry should work at the latest after restarting Firefox.
- If not, you can reset the modem by inserting a wire or needle into your modem's reset opening for ten seconds.
