Download all images from a website - how it works
You can download all images from a website using various methods. In this practical tip, we will show you both the manual and the automatic procedure.
Download images of a website manually
This method is particularly suitable if the images of a page cannot be saved with a right click. This way you can still access the pictures.
- Open a website, such as the Chip homepage.
- Right click on the white border and then select "Examine Item".
- A new window is opening up. Select "Network" in the lower area and press "F5".
- The page now loads all elements. You can now specifically select the images you want. To do this, click on any image.
- When the preview of the image has opened, right-click on it. Select "Open image in a new tab".
- Now save the image on your computer by right-clicking "Save image as ...".
Automatically download all images from a homepage
If you do not want to download the images manually, you can also call them up with software and save them on your computer. There are various programs for this.
- With WinHTTrack you can download entire websites, for example. Of course, this includes all the pictures that you can then save directly. The program is free of charge.
- If you choose PicaLoader, you can also download all the images on a website with just one click. The English software is available from us as a 30-day demo and then costs $ 50.
- With Image Download II you can also download all images from a website. The English-language freeware is fairly straightforward to use.
