Instead of updating each tab individually in Google Chrome, you can also reload all tabs at once. For example, this is very useful at an eBay auction. Our instructions show you which trick or alternatively which extension works.
Chrome: Update all tabs at once
Unfortunately, there is no function in Google Chrome by default that enables all tabs to be updated at the same time. You can retrofit this option with a free extension:
- Add the "Awesome Reload All Tabs Button" to your browser by clicking "Add to Chrome".
- Confirm the process with "Add". The button is now at the top right of the Chrome window.
- To update all tabs at the same time, simply click the button.
Reload all Chrome tabs: the trick for professionals
If the addon procedure is too easy for you, there is a second way:
- Select all tabs by clicking the tab on the far left and holding down the [Shift] key (capitalization key) clicking the last tab on the far right.
- Now you can update all tabs with the key combination [Ctrl] + [R].
- Alternatively, right-click on one of the tabs and select "Reload" (see picture).
Tip: You can also update websites automatically with Chrome and save yourself the click of the button.
