Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu: when is the release?
With Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, the last correct Pokemon version 2016 has been released for the Nintendo 3DS. A completely new version will not be released for the Nintendo Switch until late 2019. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu will be released for the Switch on November 16, 2018 and should shorten the waiting time.
- Pokemon: Let's Go Pickachu is supposed to revive the yellow edition from 1999 in a completely new style. You explore the famous Kanto region and catch the 151 Pokemon of the first region. The new Alola Pokemon from the Sun and Moon editions as well as a completely new Pokemon should also appear.
- As usual with Pokemon, there will be a congruent version with Pokemon: Let's Go Evoli. Here, however, you do not start with Pickachu, but with Evoli. The technical possibilities of the Switch will significantly change the classic gameplay in the new Pokemon version.
Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu - All information about the game
- Pokemon catch was almost entirely taken over by the Pokemon GO smartphone game. With the JoyCon controller on the Switch, you can virtually throw the Pokeballs onto the console or onto the TV.
- You can connect Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu to Pokemon GO using the Nintendo Account. If you catch a Pokemon on the go with Pokemon GO, it's also available on the switch in your pouch.
- Since you only need one controller for the game, you always have a second controller left. You can give this to a friend who is playing with you on the same console. Together you can both catch Pokemon and go into battle.
- In addition to the look, something has changed in the appearance of the Pokemon. The wild pocket monsters are no longer hiding in the grass, but are directly visible. So you can partially choose which Pokemon you want to fight or collect.
- For hardcore fans there is a special controller with a Pokeball look, the Pokeball Plus. If you have caught a Pokemon, you can save it in the Pokeball and use the controller without the console. When moving, the Pokeball Plus flashes and emits noises from the Pokemon caught.
