All cards in League of Legends
In League of Legends there are a total of four different cards, on which a different game mode is always played. In addition to the usual 5 on 5 in Summoner's Rift, you can also play a reign mode on the Crystal Scar map.
The Summoner's Rift
Summoner's Rift is the most popular map in League of Legends. 5 against 5 heroes are played. The map consists of 3 lanes with new minions spawning every 30 seconds. Each lane has 3 defense towers. If the last tower of a lane has been destroyed, the inhibitor can be attacked. However, this is only temporarily destroyed and as long as this is the case, a super vassal spawns in every wave of Minions. If an inhibitor is destroyed, the 2 defense towers of the Nexus can also be attacked. If these have also been destroyed, the Nexus can ultimately be attacked and destroyed. Whoever does this first wins the game. The Summoner's Rift also offers a great jungle. The strongest monster is the baron and the dragon. Here is an overview of all the facts:
- Game mode: 5 against 5
- Number of lanes: 3
- Goal: Destroy the enemy Nexus or take the opposing team to task.
- Major jungle monsters: Baron Nashor and the dragon
Winding forest
In the winding forest, 3 is played against 3. Again, the goal is to destroy the enemy nexus. However, there are only 2 lanes, 2 towers in front of the inhibitor and a tower that protects the Nexus. The jungle is between the lanes. In addition, the giant spider disgust lurks above the top lane. There are 2 altars in the jungle. Take this to get additional attributes for your team.
- Game mode: 3 against 3
- Number of lanes: 2
- Goal: Destroy the enemy Nexus or take the opposing team to task.
- Important jungle monsters: disgusting throat
- Special feature: altars that strengthen the team.
crystal scar
5 against 5 is also played on the crystal scar. But the goal here is not to destroy the opposing nexus. There are 5 points on the map that can be taken by a team. If one team holds the majority of the points, the other team loses crystal units, of which each team has 500 at the beginning. A game therefore often lasts no longer than 20 minutes. In this sense, there are no lanes. Minions only spawn between points if they are captured by different teams. In the middle of the map there is a seal that gives your team a buff.
- Game mode: 5 against 5
- Goal: Bring enemy crystal units to 0.
- Number of lanes: none
- Special features: there is no jungle; 5 different points to be taken; Seal in the middle, which gives a buff.
Howling gorge
5 on 5 is also played on the Howling Gorge map. ARAM (All Random All Mid) mode is played, which means that everyone has to play a random champion and there is only one lane. The goal is again to destroy the opposing nexus. Minions spawn again to help you. Each team has a total of 4 towers: 2 in front of the inhibitor and 2 in front of the nexus. There is no jungle.
- Game mode: 5 against 5
- Goal: Destroy the enemy nexus or take the opposing team to task.
- Number of lanes: 1
- Special features: random champions
Other cards have already been tested temporarily by Riot, such as "One for All". Here 5 identical champions play against other 5 identical champions. If you want to know what role you can play in the Summoner's Rift, read this practical tip.
