Amazon offers its customers a 5 GB cloud drive storage. This practical tip explains how to set up the free service.
How to set up Amazon Cloud Drive
- In your logged-in Amazon profile, go to "My Account" and select "My Cloud Drive".
- Enter your user data again. You will then be directed to your storage.
- "Pictures", "Documents" and "Videos" are folders that Amazon has already created for you.
- With "New Folder" you can create new directories.
- Click on "Add files" in the top right to upload data to your online storage.
- In the window that now opens, you can specify the target folder for the uploaded files.
- With "Select files to upload" you can select files on your hard drive and select them with "Open".
- The download of the selected files then begins immediately.
- Back in the Cloud Drive home page, check the files you want to download or delete.
- With "More Actions" you can also use functions such as moving or copying elements.
