Use Amazon Echo without Prime
The Amazon Prime subscription brings you some advantages, but it also costs a few euros. You can, of course, save yourself that if you don't take advantage of Prime anyway.
- However, what you should have is an Amazon account so you can download and install the Amazon Echo skills.
- Speakers and music somehow belong together, but you cannot access Amazon Prime Music with the Amazon Echo without a Prime subscription. However, you can, for example, listen to the radio on TuneIn or switch to another music service.
- For enthusiastic Amazon shoppers, the second disadvantage may be even more serious: Without Amazon Prime, you cannot place your orders on Amazon via Alexa.
- Apart from these two restrictions, you do not have to do without anything else and can therefore use Amazon Echo without a problem.
