This guide shows you what you can do if you get error 13 on the Amazon Kindle Fire.
Amazon Kindle Fire: Fix Error 13
Error 13 either indicates a damaged video file or that there is a problem with the temporarily saved files.
- See if you can play another video. If this is the case, there is an error in the original file.
- If you can no longer play videos, you must delete the temporary files. Swipe from the top of the screen and select "More".
- Tap "Applications" and choose the app that has the problem.
- Here tap on "Force stop" and then on "Clear data".
- You may be asked to delete the app data. Confirm again with "Delete data".
- Now restart the device. The playback should now work again.
