Amazon: Monitor price trends automatically - so it'll work
There are numerous special offers on Amazon - but when is a product really cheap? With a clever price trend tool, you automatically monitor the prices and are informed about bargains directly in the browser. We show you this wonder tool for bargain hunters.
Amazon price alert: automatic price comparison with SnipMe
The free add-on "SnipMe" for Firefox checks the prices in the background and informs you about discounts:
- The expansion initially does not require any configuration. However, it adds a script to the additional control element "Set up price alarm" on the Amazon website. If available, you can even graphically follow the previous price trend by clicking on the green chart symbol.
- Clicking on "Activate price alert" displays the required dialog. Enter the desired e-mail address for the notification, your desired price and other options for article selection.
- Click on "Monitor" to activate the alarm, which you will then receive by email and must also first confirm by email after the first notification.
- To manage your surveillance, you need an account with SnipMe, which can be activated quickly via the link provided in the dialog. If you use your Google or Facebook account to register, no further registration is required and you will be logged in automatically in the future.
- By clicking on the registration address shown you will get to the administration. There you can clearly see all of your observed items and delete them quickly or adjust the price limits to the current development.
Tip: Add Amazon wish list to the price trend list
If you want to go even further, you can even take over all of your observations from Amazon using the link "wish list import". To do this, open your wish list in another tab and copy its URL to the clipboard using the key combination [Ctrl] + [C]. Switch back to the SnipMe website and paste the wish list URL here using [Ctrl] + [V]. Select further options and then confirm the transfer by clicking on "Import".
