Amazon Prime Video: costs at a glance
Amazon's Prime Video is included in the paid Prime membership, but can also be used individually. We explain to you in this practical tip what amount this is and at what intervals you have to pay.
What does Prime Video cost?
If you want to use Amazon Prime Video, you have to choose Amazon Prime or one-shot titles (buy or rent). If you choose Prime, in addition to watching series and films, you can also enjoy free shipping and borrow an eBook for free once a month.
- You can try Amazon Prime free for 30 days. During this time you can watch films and series and also borrow an eBook and use the free premium shipping.
- If you do not cancel Prime membership, the offer will become a paid membership. You then pay 69 euros per year or 7.99 euros per month. As a student you save a lot of money and only pay 34 euros per year. As a student, a 12-month trial membership is also possible.
- You can cancel at any time within this period and prevent a new debit from your account. You will continue to use the offer until your membership expires.
- But be careful: Not everything is free with Prime Video. You have to buy some titles or you can borrow them. There are separate costs for this. The prices can be found directly in the film or series.
- The prices vary here and start at 99 cents per episode or film. You also decide whether you want to stream the film or series in SD or HD quality. A download is also possible.
