Amazon: Rate seller - how it works
With a seller rating on Amazon, you help other users decide whether to buy from the same retailer. It also gives the dealer feedback on how satisfied you were with them. For many retailers, the ratings are an incentive to improve service and quality.
Submit seller rating on Amazon
As soon as you have placed an order with a marketplace seller, you can rate the merchant under "My orders" after receipt of the goods. This is particularly useful if you want to praise the seller, point out grievances or share your experience with other Amazon users.
- First open the Amazon website and log in with your access data.
- Now move the mouse pointer in the upper tab to "My Account" to open the menu. Select "My Orders" from all options.
- Now select the order whose marketplace seller you want to rate. To do this, click on "Provide seller feedback" to the right of the order information.
- You will now be taken to a selection with various details about the order: star rating, punctuality and whether the product corresponds to the description. To give seller feedback, you must give at least one out of five stars and write a comment.
- Once you've filled everything out, click the gold-colored "Submit a Review" button so that your feedback can be taken into account.
- Note that it can take up to three days after an order is completed or canceled before you can rate the seller. You can then write feedback for 90 days. After this period, the evaluation option expires.
