Android 4.3: Deactivate WLAN

Turn off WiFi in Android 4.3
You can deactivate WLAN in Android 4.3 in two ways:
- Go to the "Settings" on your Android device. At the top you will see the item "WLAN" under "Wireless and networks". Tap the slider behind it so that it shows "OFF".
- You can also use the so-called Quick Settings of Android 4.3: To do this, drag the status bar down and tap on the box symbol at the top right. Now tap on the tile that says WLAN, so that "WLAN OFF" is displayed.
- Alternatively, you can also control WiFi using a widget on the home screen. You can use the "WiFi OnOff" app, for example.
