Android: create backup without root - how it works
It quickly happens that your own smartphone breaks. With a backup of your Android smartphone (without root access) you can transfer all backed up data to a new cell phone. This way, your data will not be lost in the event of smartphone damage.
Backup without root access: this is how it works on Android smartphones
Creating a backup is very easy and quick. In this example we use the helium service.
- First install the free software "Helium" on your PC.
- Also install the helium app on your Android smartphone.
- Make sure that the drivers of your smartphone are installed on your PC. If you have already connected your smartphone to the computer, it should already be installed.
- Then go to the developer options of your device and activate "USB debugging".
- Finally, connect your smartphone to the computer, open the Helium app and start the Helium software.
- Now just follow the program's instructions to make a backup. We will also show you all the steps again in a picture gallery for helium.
