Android: change download folder - so it'll work
If you have downloaded something on your Android smartphone, the file ends up in the download folder. This practical tip shows you how you can change it and thus create more storage space.
How to change the download folder on Android
- Open the "Settings" on your smartphone.
- Switch here to the "Storage" option and scroll down a bit.
- Under "Storage Settings" select the "SD Card" as the "Standard Path".
- All downloads are now saved on the SD card.
