Android: Import Firefox bookmarks
If you use Firefox as a browser on Android, you can import your bookmarks from the PC. In this practical tip, we explain how you have to do this.
Import Firefox bookmarks on Android: Activate Firefox Sync
With Firefox-Sync you can synchronize your bookmarks between different devices and thus transfer them to your Android smartphone. In addition, other data such as saved passwords are transmitted.
- Open Firefox on your PC and click the menu button. Then select "Sign in to Sync".
- Click "Introduction" to start setting up a Firefox account.
- Follow the instructions and enter your details. To complete the registration, you have to call up the confirmation link in the email.
Import Firefox bookmarks on Android
The next step is to log in to your Android device using the Firefox sync account you just set up.
- Open the Firefox browser on your Android smartphone, go to the menu and select the settings.
- Tap "Sign in to Sync" and then tap "Introduction."
- In the window that opens, select the option "Do you already have an account? Log in".
- Now log in with the account you just created. Firefox will automatically sync your bookmarks between all registered devices.
