Android: activate flight mode - how it works
If you have your Android smartphone lying next to your bed at night, you should activate flight mode. This turns off all data connections and sleep better. Our instructions show you how to do this.
How to activate the flight mode of your Android smartphone:
- Open the menu of your Android smartphone by tapping on the icon of the same name.
- Then call up the "Settings".
- Once in the settings, tap on the "Connections" tab under "Network Connections" on "Additional Settings". You can often find the flight mode under "Wireless & networks".
- Now check the "Offline mode" or "Flight mode" entry (see picture). Flight mode is now activated.
- Alternatively, you can also activate the flight mode via the Android quick menu. To do this, open the menu bar by placing your finger on the top of the display and then pulling down. Then tap on the "Offline mode" or "Airplane mode" entry and confirm with "Activate".
