Android phone no longer rings - what to do?
If your Android phone suddenly stops ringing on calls, it can be very annoying, especially when you are waiting for important calls. Here you can find out what can be the reason - and what you can do about it.
Android phone no longer rings - you can do that
- First, check whether you accidentally turned down the volume on your cell phone.
- A reboot of your smartphone often helps: Shut it down completely and wait half a minute. Then turn it back on and try to see if the problem is resolved.
- Maybe you have muted your profile. It is best to check this in the settings of your device.
- Your headphone connector may be dirty. This can result in your smartphone always assuming that headphones are connected and that the speaker is not activated at all. Try careful cleaning.
- In the worst case, try a reset to the factory settings. However, since this means that your laboriously collected data such as contacts are quickly lost, it is best to save them on your PC beforehand.
- If nothing works, all you can do is contact your cell phone manufacturer. Check in advance whether you still have a guarantee or whether you have to pay for a repair yourself.
