Android: Music playback stops - it may be because of this
If the music playback on your Android smartphone occasionally stops, this can have various causes. We'll show you what it could be.
Music playback stops on Android: You can do that
If you are using a pre-installed player or another app to listen to music and are struggling with music playback problems, you should follow the steps below.
- Make sure your headphones are plugged in correctly and are not defective. To do this, you can simply connect your headphones to another device.
- If you are using Bluetooth headphones, make sure that the Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and the headphones is configured correctly.
- Also check whether you have activated motion control. In some cases, music playback turns off when you turn your smartphone, for example.
- Try different music players. We recommend the PlayerPro Music Player or n7player MusikPlayer, for example.
- If you have saved your music on an external SD card, you should try another SD card model. Your current SD card may be too slow.
- Also make sure that the jack socket for your headphones is lint and dust free.
- Use a music player that does not require an internet connection to play. For example, if Google Play Music is used, songs may stop when the connection is lost if they are not saved on the device.
