Android: delete folder - so it'll work
You can delete folders on the Android smartphone in several ways, thus creating space on the home screen and internal memory. Our instructions show you the individual steps.
How to delete folders on Android smartphone
- Deleting folders on the homescreen: To do this, press and hold the folder until it moves and you can drag it upwards into the trash can.
- Deleting folders in the menu: Open the relevant menu page and press the "Settings" button or key. Select "Edit" and drag the folder to the trash. Finally confirm this with "Save".
- Deleting folders in the internal memory: Download a file manager and open it. Then press and hold the folder until it is selected. Then you can remove it via "Delete".
- Deleting folders on the PC: To do this, you first have to connect your smartphone to the computer and then select folders and delete them as usual by right-clicking.
- Note: Only delete folders whose content you know and no longer need. Otherwise, important system files can be removed.
