Android: Play games in VR and AR - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how you can play all games on your Android smartphone in VR ("Virtual Reality") and AR ("Augmented Reality").

Before you can start, make sure you have rooted your Android smartphone.
- Then download the "SELinuxModeChanger" tool to your Android device and install it. Start the app and allow it root access. Then select the "Permissive" mode.
- Then you need the "TriDef 3D Games" app. Unfortunately, this is currently not available on Google Play. You can also download the app here.
- In the app you will now find various games that you can play in 3D, VR or AR. Click on the cogwheel in the top right to access the settings. In the "Built-in display mode" section, select how the respective game should be displayed.
- Finally, click on a game of your choice to start it. The game does not start as usual, but as a 3D / VR / AR game.

Alternatively, you can also use conventional 3D, VR and AR games.
- Matching 3D and VR games can be found in the "Cardboard" app. Here you can experience the first experiences with virtual reality.
- For cool AR games, all you have to do is search for "AR" in the Play Store or App Store.
