Start Android Task Manager - Here's how
You can use the Android Task Manager to end stubborn apps. We will explain how to start the practical tool.
Start Android Task Manager on the smartphone
- Press and hold the home button for a long time to display all currently running applications. For devices without a physical home button, there is usually a separate button on the screen to call up this menu.
- Most devices have a button at the bottom or in the middle of the screen. This opens the Task Manager.
- Some devices like the Sony Xperia do not have this button. If this is the case, you have to start the Task Manager via the Settings app. To do this, navigate to "Applications" and "Active".
- Here you can now terminate running applications or view the current RAM consumption.
If the journey takes too long, you can also use the keyboard shortcuts for your Android device.
