Android: save websites as PDF
You can easily save websites as a PDF document with your Android smartphone. This enables you to view the content at a later point in time even without an internet connection.
Save the website as a PDF on the Android smartphone
The easiest way to do this is with the Chrome browser.
- Install the Chrome browser on your smartphone or start the app.
- Use Chrome to go to the website you want to save as a PDF document.
- Click on the three dots at the top right and select the entry "Print ..." in the context menu.
- You can now select a printer by clicking on the top button. Click here on "Save as PDF".
- If you are satisfied with the remaining settings for paper size and orientation, you can click on "Save".
- Then select the folder in which the PDF document is to be saved on your smartphone.
- You can then find the PDF document again via your file manager or an app such as "ES File Explorer".
To be able to view the PDF document, you need an app such as "Adobe Reader". You can also edit the PDF files on Android.
