Surf anonymously in Firefox
If you want to protect your privacy, you can surf the Internet completely anonymously with the Mozilla Firefox browser. We show you several ways of perfectly blurring your traces on the net.
Firefox: Surf anonymously in private mode
If you want to surf anonymously with Firefox, you do not need expensive additional software. The free browser already has a suitable function with which you can disguise your user data well on the PC:
- Click on the menu button at the top right and select a "New private window".
- Alternatively, you can simultaneously press the [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [P] keys.
- Then a new window opens in which Firefox does not save history, cookies or cache. So you leave no traces on the computer itself.
AnonymoX: Firefox add-on for anonymous surfing
Alternatively, you can not only blur the traces on your computer, but also disguise your identity on the entire Internet. With the following extension, websites can no longer localize their correct location:
- Download the free AnonymoX add-on and integrate it into Firefox.
- A large "X" appears in the top right of the browser. Here you will find the settings of the add-on.
