Simulate a call on your smartphone - so it'll work
If you are sitting in a boring meeting or need a rescue from a bad date, simply simulate a call on your smartphone. We'll show you how to fake your calls to other people.
Smartphone: fake calls from friends and strangers
- You need a suitable app to simulate a fake call. You can quickly find many apps for this in the App Store or Play Store.
- Just search for "fake call" and you will find it right away. Unfortunately, some apps are a bit older and don't work properly on newer devices.
- The principle of fake calls is always the same. Select the picture and name of the caller and start a countdown. When the time runs out, your cell phone rings and you can answer the supposed call.
iOS and Android: simulate calls
- Android: In the test, the apps Fake Call & SMS and Fake Call - Fake Me A Call were particularly convincing. In addition to calls, entire SMS messages can also be faked here. Depending on the Android smartphone, the displayed screen can be customized.
- iOS: None of the available apps on the iPhone was really convincing. Many of the apps have a very outdated design or crash with every little thing. The applications Fake Call Free and A Fake Caller run quite stable and can be configured in a few seconds.
