Do you have connection problems when you want to play Anthem? Various tricks can help, so you can gamble again quickly.
First aid for connection problems with Anthem
As with any online game, the EA title Anthem can cause errors and connection problems. The following steps can help:
- First check the server status by clicking on "Server Status" above on this EA website. If there are problems, you can only wait.
- Make sure the game is up to date and no update is currently installed.
- Open any website in the browser to check if you have internet problems. If so, restart your router. This can solve various problems. If the internet termination persists, contact your internet provider.
- Depending on whether you want to play Anthem on a console or on a PC, you should also restart this device. This can clear small bugs in the cache that may cause connection problems.
Change DNS
With persistent connection problems to the Anthem servers, changing the DNS servers sometimes works wonders.
- To do this, first click on the LAN or WLAN symbol of your Internet connection at the bottom right.
- Open the "Network and Internet Settings" and then the "Network and Sharing Center".
- Then click on your internet connection.
- In the new window, click on "Properties" and then on the entry "Internet Protocol, Version 4 (TCP IPv4)". Click on "Properties" underneath.
- Enter the preferred DNS server 8.8.8.8 and the alternative DNS server 8.8.4.4 below and then click on "OK".
