Antialiasing: Beautiful Android games through anti-aliasing
Antialiasing - also called anti-aliasing - makes your Android games look nicer than ever. We'll tell you how to activate the function here.
Enable anti-aliasing on Android
The so-called MSAA or multisample antialiasing is used on Android. The corresponding setting item can be found in the developer options. If these are hidden on your smartphone or tablet, you can activate them with a simple trick.
- Open the settings. Then scroll down to "Developer options" and tap on it.
- In the "Drawing" area, look for the item "Activate 4x MSAA" and tick the box to the right. You can then exit the settings again.
A tablet with Android 4.2.2 was used for this practical tip. Keep in mind that you can only activate anti-aliasing if it is supported by your smartphone or tablet. Next, we'll tell you how to play your Android games on your PC.
