Crossplay at Apex Legends: Not yet possible
Fortnite can, Overwatch is working on it, but what about Apex Legends? Crossplay is now standard in many games. For some time now, PlayStation players and PC gamers have been able to play together in the Crossplay Rocket League. It is the same with the genre pioneer Fortnite: The multiplayer mode is called Battle Royale Crossplay.

Dataminer finds code for crossplay in Apex Legends Update
A so-called Dataminer discovered some clues in the last update for Apex Legends that can provide information.
- That1MiningGuy discovered the value "Nucleus" in the code of the September update. In a Twitter post, he speculates that the player's platform can be recognized in this way.
- Even if the Dataminer does not seem to be completely convinced that this is enough as an indication of an early crossplay in Apex Legends, it could be a ray of hope for the fans.
