By activating the Apple Health App, you can read a lot of different data about your health and fitness directly on your iPhone. The app is pre-installed and you only need to set it up so that you can use the functions.

- First check on your home screen whether the Health app is already displayed.
- If this is not the case, you must first update your iOS device. To do this, update the iPhone. You should then find the Health app.
Easily activate the Apple Health app
To be able to use various functions of the Apple HealthKit, you have to allow in the settings that, for example, your steps can be counted. These settings are activated by default, but you should check them if you are unable to access data in the Health app.
- Open the settings.
- Select the "Privacy" menu.
- Then tap "Exercise and Fitness".
- Slide the sliders for Fitness Log, Health, and Pedometer to the right to activate the functions.
Set up the Apple Health app: Retrieve data from the Apple Watch
If you have an Apple Watch, you can call up various data from it in the Helath app on your iPhone. To do this, you must have paired the devices together. The data is automatically collected on your Apple Watch and sent to the Health app.
- Open the Health app on your iPhone and tap on "Data".
- Then select the "Activity" item to view data about your movement.
- Under "Vital signs> Heart rate" you will find the heart rate measured by your Apple Watch.
- By choosing Health Data> Mindfulness, you can view your Apple Watch breathing data.
